I WAS WATCHIN BET ON DAY N IT HAD LIKE ONE OF THOSE SHORT COMMERCIAL SNIPPETS, N IT SHOWED ALL THESE RAPPERS THAT DID GOSPEL RAP. SO THEY WERE SAYIN LIKE THEY WANT 2 REINVENT HIP HOP TO SPREAD THE WORD OF JESUS. THEY WANTED TO MAKE THAT THE NEXT BEST THING IN HIP HOP.
SO WOULD U LISTEN TO IT N SUPPORT IT? OR DO U THINK ITS NOT GONNA BE THE NEXT BIG THING?

truthfully, shit a gimmik, gospel and rap just dont mix for some reason. most of the rappers try to song gangsta, but come across lame

These so-called worldly "gospel" rappers dont even have understanding on the Bible anyway. So they just rap about a bunch of madness and have hardly any idea about what they talking about.
Sing praises with understanding. Otherwise, youll sound like an idiot.

There is no way this will become the next big thing in Rap, first of all it is a gimmick, second of all most 'gospel' rappers are straight garbage, & third of all most rap fans don't want to hear about jesus when listenin' to rap.

i ain't feelin it. church goers turned me off of gospel rap. real experiences and discussions with church people let's me know that many of them don't respect our way of reporting what goes on in the streets. gospel rap is just biting off of "secular" rap.
