OK i am just kind of fed up with pointless videos, espcially if they can tell a small story or something in them. beyonce made a video where she was just runnin around in different outfits, well she still does that, but i was really dissapointed in rihanna''''s new video. i mean the girl is beautiful and whatnot but the two best scenes were the beginning with jay-z and the end with her and the dancers, i just think there could have been a little story or sumthin in-between. there are alot of vidoes like that and i just kind of wish there were more substance and effort into these half million dollar things than in just the wardrobe. you can look here and see the video if you havent.
I knew i would get that typical answer, but i am still hoping for some more passionate agreement. anyway of course when it comes to the female videos why would yall dudes care, but what about your fav mc's, aint you ever been pissed off by one of their videos, expectations been shot down for a song you were waiting on the video for
to be honest im not a big video fan i think people who try to make there video the shit is a waste of money the music should speak for itself instead of your shit getting noticed cuz you have pamela anderson but naked on a piano with a dildo...
should be the music that sells it just my opinion...
i agree with that myself g.s.e. i think videos are an extra perk especially to a good song thats just why i get annoyed when they dont get used. when the song already speaks for itself a video is an extra tool to reach more people. now this particular song is not the best example for that, but as for the song itself i do feel like it had potential, everything does i guess. its a song about loyalty and i like them type of songs, the concept appealed to me and i was dissapointed it fell short and just wanted to express my opinion about it

You right sera, seriously- I mean all this money is spent on video graphics an effects, the beats be funky an good club or dance bangers but the story is deaded- like most hiphop also video an beats are better but lyrics be weak or no effort but still people dont notice- sera why Im a fan of most of ashanti's music because she has alot more passionate/ or story to her music like foolish- happy blah blah he sang bout relationships- love an also made some good dance bangers an still held down good lyrics an story a better example is MARY J BLIDGE- she always makes good music that people can relate too an feel her passion for music- beyounce an rihana both do but there recent songs are just good beats an glamour shit- deffiently beyounce..
