Not sure who all in here is into the "oldies" (for lack of a better word), but Blue Note Records (home of Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane's "Blue Train" album and others, is releasing this compilation called "Droppin Science." The comp is highlighting the some label's most sampled tracks. examples: "Think Twice" was sampled by J Dilla, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul and Main Source, while "Wind Parade" was used by Pac, Organized Konfusion and Black Moon. I love releases like this; they show how talented the producers are that can really flip the records, along with confirming how timeless the original records really are.
