jr writer is that dude one of my top five fav's but not in my top five artists (there's a big difference) he's more of a hot spitter than a developed artist. I believe he will come around eventually and become a complete artist just like weezy. when weezy was on that sqad shit his spit some of his hottest verses ever but alot of it was still in a box. now he has developed and has one of the biggest ranges for someone as highly looked at to touch the mic. and don't get it twisted i live in the south and i probably have a bigger jr writer catalouge than alot of up north cats I cant wait to see him blow up like he needs to be.
oh yeah and peep his 8 min freestyle on the funk flex show they couldn't even stop dude. straigh fiyyyyyyaaaa

Jr can rap his ass off but there is no one in that crew to get him to that next level of being a complete artist, DipSet does not have one complete artist that can rap and do decent hooks. Cam/Jimmy cant rap for shit but they are pretty good at getting good production, and Juelz/Hell Rell/JR are the other way around.
Wayne was under guys like Juvie/BG/Mannie who could make catchable songs/hooks, Weezy was just the most better lyricist of the bunch and learned how to make hooks/ pick good beats due to being around them and now he is almost a complete rapper.

JR was not hot back in the day, HOT is when you sell a million records plus. Only thing ever went plat thru the Diplomats camp was Diplomatic Immunity/Purple Haze. Ive never heard JR's voice outside a NY/Philly/Jersey radio station.
As far as Cash Money goes they WERE hot BG did numbers, Juvie did numbers, even Big Tymers did numbers. They werent the greatest rappers by any means but they made some catchy ass songs that got radio play and sold records.
Wayne is making catchy ass songs and even has nice lyrics every now and then, only time JR ever sounds good is on some1 else's beat or some1 else's song/album.
