and i would expect you to be ignorant to something that you dont know anything about. its NY shit, thats been around for decades. Just know its a way of life and out teachings can better you as a person.
EDIT: A lot of NY rappers are 5%ers, NGE, or Zulu. even your favorite rapper spits shit from our teachings.(Nas).

but to answer your question is yes its a way of life but helping others can come in different forms anything from droppin jewels on people and hope they take it and use it to there benifit or pass it along to the next man to puttin money back into the community(even if its made illegally, unfortunately..lol).
and by the Artist you listen to i can tell u probably do have similar views.
You already kno wat its about so i dont really have to go deep into what we believe and teach, ya kno?
