Iight so if you be on worldstar, hiphopgame, allhiphop, or anything OTHER THAN SIXSHOT, you should know that Vibe.com recently released a list entitled "best rapper ever" and Joe Budden IMMEDIATELY shunned the list as fraudulent, inaccurate, and having no credibility. In his speech, he happened to mention Method Man by name as he was seeded #9 and he was #32...WHO YALL THINK WOULD REALLY WIN???

weeeell, we all know Budden can rap and all that, but hommie is a crybaby..has been his whole career, possibly his whole life. this aint nothin surprising or new to me to hear about Budden cryin bout some shit.

i was gonna post this shit last night, but figured it aint even worth it on six........
but anyways, im a fan of budden and meth but i think joes ego done got to big, as a WHOLE, i think method man is a better mc, here is a link to where meth and budden called up power 105 and discussed how they felt about the situation

i honestly think even if he WASNT on the list he woulda made the vid, so its not like he's cryin about being 32, he's mad at the list altogether. Black Thought isnt higher than Too Short or ODB. That's CRAZY...Lupe is NOT on the list...Joell is NOT on the list (which is kinda understandable cuz he still gotta prove himself, he's nice but he has no real...anything really...jus some hot songs) The point is, the list isnt a real best rapper list, and people just took the Method Man comment and ran with it, cuz the original video was 10 mins and he mentioned Method Man in about 20-30 seconds of the video

I haven't seen the vids but saw this posted on Cartel the other day...I like both, but Joe would smash on Meth on a battle tip. Just coz you are a legend for being the dopest in your day, doesn't necessarily mean you can still hang bar for bar with some of today's elite..

i kind of agree wit cross, i dont think far as battles go that meth could go bar for bar with budden.. and overall as emcees, they are pretty close for me, but in all actuality, i think all lists are pointless, wellllll not pointless but more opinionated then anything, it all depends on what style you like, what kind of content you like, etc etc.. you could put a spin on who does what the best and lists could change up quite a bit, thats the main reason why i dont believe in someone being "#1".. its all a matter of opinion.. but damn, no lupe on the list? haha, and yeah J, Joell should def be on the list too but like you said, hes got more work to put in prolly..

method man has obv been more succesful as a rapper.. but budden's was saying he would smash him lyrically, which i agree with 100 percent.. if jb and meth squared up and started rappin, it would get ugly.. buddens would win, easily..
