A lot of y'all know that Obama spoke to the schools today, and some opted out of it. There has been a lot of controversy amongst parents (where I'm at its all old white folks). But I was listening to conservative talk radio (Chris Baker Show) and he was saying that most children identify more with sports players and never a politician. That most children can see past them. Most children and even myself as a young child before have played "ball". thats what kids do right? Play ball? Basically my question to you sixshot, do you feel as thought it would of been more effective if Michael Vick (hell any major player really) spoke out to the young students than Mr. Obama himself? Or do you feel as though students need to identify with higher political authority more and recognize who runs financial backing systems and such?
