I have been informed (whether accurate or inaccurate) that Jay-Z is in the process of developin a label that will house more “cerebral” rappers. There are no artists named yet, but think Mos Def, Common, dead prez as the sort of artist that will be signed and before tha Black Album Jay-Z did a lot of name-dropping (Common, Talib) and collaborating (dead prez) with non-traditional rappers
