My opinion of Lil' Wayne:
STRENGTHS:
1. Is one of the best young rappers to come out from the south of America
2. Is good at making tunes that can cater for the thugs, ladies and for the clubs
3. Is Consistently able to go Gold in terms of sales
WEAKNESSES:
1. Isn't very different from other southern rappers (doesn't bring anything fresh/unique to hip hop)
2. His albums consistently contain songs that talk about played-out issues such as guns, hoes and so on
3. Doesn't have enuff mainstream appeal, which will enable him to platinum
4. His lyrics are nothing too special and sometimes lack basic flow.

i agree. if he leave cash money and get off baby dick, he could really come up. he also needs to talk about more subjects besdides mirkin niggas on every song. i been a wayne fan sice ''get it how u live'' and when he talk about real shit, he go hard.

Yeah, I agree with Temp. Being mainstream ain't always the best thing.
Strengths: Can freestyle/Lyrical at times/a bit versatile in terms of having good raps in R&B songs/marketable
Weaknesses: For a while he was swayin on Jay Z's dicc a bit too much/talks about money, cars, and jewelry in a great percentage of his raps/needs to write all of Baby's raps for him so his so called "daddy" won't be labeled as a garbage ass rapper
