My Opinion of T.I:
STRENGTHS:
1. Is one of the best rappers lyrically to come out of the southern part of the US.
2. His lyrics are quality compared to lacklustre lyrics from Baby/Birdman, Juvenile
3. Is very marketable to all types of consumers
4. Has the ability to go double platinum
5. Is very confident in his own ability (Confident to say he is the king from the south)
WEAKNESSES:
1. Many fans and rappers alike beleive T.I. has no respect for pioneers of other southern rappers such as Scarface and Ludacris
2. Apart from his lyrical qualities, he is pretty much a carbon copy of other southern rappers talking about the same old issues such as bicthes, money, guns and cars
3. Needs to move to bigger record label (maybe Jay Z's Def Jam) in order for his music not only to be recognised in the US but also in Britain, Europe, Asia e.t.c

TI did step it up. I don't think he gets enuf respect tho. two years ago i was like T.I. who? i think he has the potential to be top 5...

ti and ludacris first albums came out around tha same time. ludacris aint no dam poineer. ti will neva be considered one of tha top 5 rappaz n tha future. he might make tha top 15 if he dont fall off. he a good artist but wit all tha legends dat has came outta cali n ny nobody from tha souf besides scarface eva has a chance to be considered ne greater than tha top 15 rappaz of all time. datz commin from a kuntri boi. 1 luv

T.I can really make good songs though. He also really has a serious side and it shows in his songs. If he keeps it up, sells more records, and gets know more world wide, he might be one of the best in this age. (exclude those who came out in the 90's. I feel we should separate them from others cuz that was there time.) Hes one of the best in the south though.
